Zumbini is an early childhood music and movement program designed for children from birth to 4 years old and their caregiver. Created by Zumba® and BabyFirst, it combines original music, dance, instrument play, and interactive activities in a joyful, play-based environment that supports early childhood development while strengthening the bond between caregiver and child. A typical Zumbini class lasts about 45 minutes and is carefully structured to keep little ones engaged while allowing them the freedom to participate in ways that feel natural to them. Every class includes singing, dancing, instrument exploration, imaginative play, lap songs, movement games, and calming moments that create a balanced and enjoyable experience. There is no expectation that children will follow every activity perfectly—watching, listening, exploring, and participating at their own pace are all valuable ways of learning. The curriculum is built around repetition, which helps young children gain confidence and develop important skills over time. Familiar songs and activities encourage language development, memory, listening skills, rhythm, coordination, and self-expression. Music and movement also support fine and gross motor development, cognitive growth, emotional regulation, and early social skills as children interact with their caregivers and peers.
